Friday Conservation Corps
There's nothing like getting outside and getting your hands dirty helping ecosystems function the way nature intended.
Just down the road from the BRMC Mountain House is Leopold's Preserve, a BRMC partner and one of Prince William County's crown jewels of nature. Named after Aldo Leopold, one of the most influential conservationists in our nation's history, this 380-acre park features seven miles of hiking trails and pristine habitat for an abundance of wildlife.
Every week, the Friday Conservation Corps cares for this important land from 8:30 (or 9 AM in the winter) to 11:30 a.m. Pitch in any Friday morning for a variety of activities, including invasive species removal, trash clean-up, and more. No long-term commitment required—you can drop in/out at your own convenience.
