About BRMC

MISSION

Founded in 1994, Bull Run Mountains Conservancy is an independent nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization created to protect Virginia's Bull Run Mountains region through education, stewardship, and research.

Our Mission is to provide programs and information to the general public that encourage the appreciation, preservation, and sustainability of the natural, cultural, and historical features of the Bull Run Mountain Region.

BRMC promotes and facilitates the preservation of land on and around the Bull Run Mountains, from their southern ridges in New Baltimore to their northern end in Aldie and the surrounding landscape 5-10 miles north, east, south, and west. This includes Prince William, Fauquier, and Loudoun County.

Our educational programs focus on the ecological, historical, and cultural features of the Bull Run Mountains region. Everything we do is founded in scientific research. For over 30 years, BRMC has sponsored, assisted, and facilitated numerous baseline studies that contribute to the collective  understanding of our natural landscape. â€‹â€‹â€‹
